Nice user interface and graphics; I especially like that it has the ability to set up custom pay periods. Unfortunately, everything is calculated off of your total tips rather than your remaining tips after tip out. This makes sense for the the tips as percent of sales, but gives you an inflated total tip amount earned per period and tips earned per hour value. Id personally like to see these two metrics calculated based on retained tips, or at least shown in addition to the current calculations.

I have tried everything you could imagine to keep a detailed record of my pay in the restaurant business and havent been happy. This app is what Ive been waiting for! Its freaking amazing! Im so happy I bought it. Its well worth the $.99! The CC tip line is a little confusing, but other than that, its a great app! The breakdown is so useful and its great to keep track of your monthly income when you get cash in hand everyday! Thanks for the app!

Love this app! Been using it for 2 years and no complaints. They even have great customer service. Got back to me in less than a day.

Just became part of my routine to enter my tips made after my shift. Now I can look back on how much I make, when I make the most, & how much Im making an hour! Gives me perspective on how much CASH Im making, so I can actually save some.

There are a lot of great things about this app but I have one grievance. It will only allow you to add shifts for the current day. I was trying to input information from shifts from last week and it applied them all to today, saying Ive worked 40 hours today. I want to be able to compare my earnings from before I had the app to now but I cant add it to a previous day. Fix this pleeaase! Or someone else create a new, more useful version :)

I love this app and use it every day that I work. It saves all my tips, my hourly wage, calculates my tip percentage and my hourly rate of tips. It also breaks everything down by week, month or pay period in the app, or you can export a CSV file to have even more chart and statistic fun. If you are a server or work for tips you will love this app!!

I absolutely love this app! I used to do all my numbers in an Excel spreadsheet and have countless pieces of paper lying around, but at the end of my shift everyday when I do my checkout I just enter in all the necessary information into TipBucket and it does everything for me. There have been a few glitches that I have noticed but this app still deserves 4 stars. I love that I can have multiple jobs for different wages. The only thing I would change is the ability to add two different jobs together (for example I work bar and also on the floor and those pay differently) so I could get the grand total of both of the jobs tips and hourly wage to compare it to my paycheck. Otherwise this is the best tip-tracking app I have used and its superior to all others. Most definitely worth the .99!!!

Been one month using this app and still receive application error screen...and I have contacted support twice but they have not resolved the problem.

Being a banquet server at multiple properties, I needed an app that could maintain hours and grat. This app works great. I plan on using for a long time.

Title says it all

This is app is definitely a useful for servers/waiters. The only thing I would love it to have is a tax tracker to accumulate the exact amount. Other than that its definitely a great and useful app. Get it and share it!!!

I just wish I could customize my actual pay periods. The bi-weekly features is not reflective of my actual pay periods. Otherwise I love the app

This is the best app for keeping track of tips. Im a bartender and its so nice and easy to keep track of the money I make per year/month/week/day and its tells you how much you make per hour. Ive tried many other apps related to this one and they were so difficult to put the tips in and none of them ever gave you an hourly rate. This one is so convenient and easy. LOVE this app. Been using it for 2 years.

The app in the beginning worked great, until I found some issues that could be fixed easily and make the app even better, I tried to contact the developer 3 times and I never got a single answer back, it had been over a year since "tip bucket" was last updated in January, 2014. I just decided to write this review because Ive been using the app for the last six months everyday and I could live with all those small problems until last week when a new one came up, in the app were able to see how much in tips we made per week, month and year, now when I choose the month it shows all days of the year, so I have to take my calculator and add up all the numbers to see how much I made in that particular month, and that was the thing I liked about the app, I guess Ill have to find a new app or make my own excel plan for now on

Worked great up until a few weeks ago. Im unable to view data by the month or year anymore. I emailed the developer and received no response. Obvious bug needs to be fixed.

Not sure what happened to this app but I can not view total tips for the month or the year ! Use to be able to do that but now it is not working ! Maybe developer should do an update on this issue ... Or just remove this app from the AppStore !

I would say this is very useful for keeping track of tips and hours, but it needs a way to calculate overtime hourly when we go to time and a half after so many hours. I would also add a way to calculate a rough estimate of taxes etc. that are taken out. That way I can compare my paycheck with what my estimates are. But I do like using this better than writing amounts down where I might lose them.

I love this app! As a server/bartender its a great way to track your tips! I look forward to putting my tips into the app after a shift- especially since I already go on my phone right away after a shift. Ive been looking for a way to track my tips and knew just writing it down wouldnt work for me. Ive been using it for about 2 months and havent forgotten to enter any tips! And I work nearly 40 hours a week! :)

I have been using this for years and has been great! But just a few months ago a bug has caused errors with viewing past tip history. No matter what the view it displays each individual day. I emailed support and no response. Please fix!
